Our athletes and coaching staff at Roosevelt HS live by a philosophy of Hard Work, Attitude, Respect, and Discipline (H.A.R.D.) which you will see displayed on our gear and hear us shout loud and proud. We believe this philosophy will be the foundation for life-long success for all the athletes that go through the Rough Rider Football Program. While our young men display their skills and abilities on game day, they are also constantly working during the off-season, summer, and football season to become better people and one day become great fathers, husbands, and contributors to society.
Our HEAD COACH
Welcome to the Rough Rider Football Program. We look forward to a great year, both in the classroom and on the field. We believe in developing quality young men and emphasize the values of Hard Work, Attitude, Respect, and Discipline. We look forward to seeing our fans, friends, and family in the stands and thank you for your support of Rough Rider Football along with our other athletic programs. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me or another member of our coaching staff and we will do our best to help you out!

Proud History of Rough Rider Football
The Roosevelt Rough Rider Football Program has a proud history of success and we look to build upon this success in the coming years. Our community's proudest moment was in 1995 when our young men brought home the UIL State Championship and upon visiting Roosevelt HS, you will find a mural dedicated to this team near our practice facility. While these Riders accomplished the ultimate goal and will never be forgotten, several other great teams have accumulated a long list of accomplishments and won many other titles on their quest for a state championship. We invite the community to come to our athletic facility at Roosevelt HS and view the previous championship teams and the many young men who have gone on to play college football after their time as a Rough Rider.
